Do I have to use it every day for it to be worth it?
No. StashFlow is a store, not a habit. Save three recipes in a month and cook two of them and it has done exactly what it is for. Nothing counts a streak and nothing nags you.
Can you see my data?
No. What you save is visible to you and to nobody else — it is bound to your account and enforced that way in the database itself. The app carries no third-party measurement or tracking code of any kind, nothing about you is sold, and nothing is sent to advertising systems. Crash information is sent only if you switch it on in the settings; it is off to begin with. Your location is never sent to a server at all — nearby place alerts are evaluated on the phone itself, and they are off until you turn them on. Exactly what goes where when a link is converted is listed in the privacy policy.
What does it cost?
Saving and working with your library is free for good, and there are no ads and never will be. So are 10 smart conversions a month — a conversion being a link the app reads and turns into a recipe, a place or a card. If that is not enough, Pro is €4.99 a month or €39.99 a year and stops counting. You can still save links once the free ones are used up; they simply wait for next month, or for the moment you switch Pro on. Google Play shows the price in your own currency.
How do I leave?
Whenever you like, without being asked why. In Profile you can export everything you have saved as a JSON file and delete the account in the same place — two confirmations and the account-bound data is gone. If the app is no longer on your phone, an email to info@stashflow.eu is enough. The step-by-step route is on the Delete account page.
Does it work on an iPhone?
Not yet. StashFlow is on Google Play for now. When that changes, it will say so here.
Do I need an account and a connection?
To convert a link, yes; that happens on a server, not on the phone. Once an item is saved it works with no signal, and so do the shopping list and the meal plan.
